This track was composed on 1st August 2023 in around 5 hours. I sat down at 9pm with no clue as to what I was going to do. I thought, why not go back to basics? Just a simple bell tone, and just to make life fun, a 5/4 time signature. It's been a long time since I've composed anything new, truth be told. It's been a tough year so far, so maybe this is a sign of new inspiration to come? The kids playing at the end is also a nod to go back to childhood, and learn to have fun again. The name of the track comes from Bergen, Norway - if you know, you know. After I'd written the track, I did notice a perfunctory nod toward Tubular Bells, but it's just a nod... the track is nowhere near as clever or ground-breaking, and yet it is full of emotion. I hope it lifts your spirits in listening, as it has done mine in composing it.
