Exclusive monologue by "The Surgon" from a forth coming new album releasing later in 2023.
"Analog-soaked reflections from the S41 based electronic music outfit “The Surgon” crafts an image of the world they see around them."
lyrics
I See your leaving,
Your bags are by the door,
Something tells you not to do this anymore,
My whinging only gets you down,
Relentlessly I'm late ,
The sun is blinding,
As it peels away the paint,
From my front door,
You leave and I contemplate,
A moment of clarity,
Or just a cliche?
You take the individual,
Well it blows me away,
While I eat fast food,
And waste my brain cell's away,
I wish I could think,
I never learned how,
Let's not get pretentious,
I play the game the same as you,
Well we've thrown all our money at a week in Cancún,
Those vodka martini's, and no minimum wage,
But a shiny brochure,
For religion or a shrink,
The appending apocalypse,
Yoga classes while you drink,
And all I ever wanted, was the last thing that I saw,
Don't know what for?
Don't know what for?
And now we've all forgotten,
And all bent out of shape,
More beautiful than ever,
With eyes of a snake,
I now realize the point, but as ever I'm late,
Keeping our validity,
Hoping for some dignity,
Our children they listen,
To the book's I've never read,
While putting on accents,
From a world so far away,
Where sliding door's listen,
And the actor's, they don't beg,
For another set of mistakes,
Arranged in plastic letters,
Well I wished I had questioned,
All the stuff have now become,
Cos all I ever wanted was the last thing that I saw,
And all I ever wanted was the last thing that I saw,
Don't know what for?
Don't know what for?

Jordan Vauvert

Jordan Vauvert
